JSA Rules and Regulations
Our Conformation Shows have a certain set of rules exhibitors have to follow.
Any violation will result in an immediate and irreversible elimination from competition.

Attire Regulations:
Exhibitor (if pictured):
> formal, but simple attire
-> breeches, Polo or longsleeve Shirt, tall boots for English Breeds
-> jeans, show shirt, cowboy boots for Western Breeds
> gloves are mandatory
> Helmet or Cowboy hat can be worn
Horse:
> Manes longer than 10cm have to be braided, including forelock. Dressage plaits or running braids.
-> this rule excludes Icelandics and Fjordhorses or roached manes.
> simple leather bridle, Western or English, with no flashy browband or noseband, bitless or bitted are both permitted
-> OR breed typical showing headgear, such as Western Show halters for Western breeds only or Arabian Show Halters for Arabians only
> no showing number, fly bonnet or other accessories

Day 1 Regulations:
> Horse has to be fully visible, in a breed typical posture. Close ups of head and legs aren't required but appreciated
> Horse has to be on the leadline or reins at all time
> No trot up is performed, the horse will be judged while standing still
-> Leadline may have chains, but chains are not to be over the nose, through the mouth, or under the chin.
> Exhibitor can be in the picture, however it isn't required

Day 2 Regulations:
> Horse has to be fully visible, while moving in any gait. Close ups aren't required but appreciated
> Horse has to wear headgear from the previous day
> Horse has to be free moving with little to no interferance by the exhibitor
-> Horse is'nt allowed to be on the lunge or leadline
> Exhibitor may not be near the horse while it's moving, but stand with the judes outside of the moving area
