KWPN / Dutch Warmblood
According to the Royal Dutch Sport Horse Organisation, the Dutch Warmbood has to have fairly large eyes, recognisable triangular shape connecting the eyes and top of the nasal bone, fairly large ears and medium sized muzzle. The neck is quite slender at a young age, then largens as training progresses, strong arc can be seen from the neck to the poll. The crest of the horse is often easily distinguished from the rest of the neck, whilte the croup is quite flat compared to other breeds and high whiters. The Tibia and Radius bones are often broader than the cannon bones, giving the KWPN’s legs a boxy look. The knees and hocks are often larger than average, as well as their legs. KWPN's are known to have naturally shiny coats. Horses must exceed 15.2hh to be registered.
